The First Lady, Janet Museveni has rallied the people of Kaberamaido to vote President Museveni and the NRM flag bearers in the forthcoming 2026 general elections.
Speaking during a rally at Kaburepoli primary school, Ochero town council, Kaberamaido district on Friday, said NRM has built a strong foundation for Uganda which has ushered in peace and stability.
“ I thank God for using the president and NRM government to build a strong foundation for Uganda which has brought peace and stability for our great homeland,” she said.
“ I want to recommend to you to all vote president and NRM government so that Uganda can continue building on this strong inheritance of our homeland.”
President Museveni mentioned that NRM’s story is one of three key contributions to Uganda’s development, mentioning peace and stability, infrastructure development, and wealth creation.
He praised the progress made under NRM leadership, noting improvements in road networks, electrification, and water projects across the Teso subregion.
Museveni mentioned ongoing works such as the tarmacking of the Otuke road, and plans to extend it further to Amolatar.
He however noted that despite the developments, it is high time Ugandans listened to NRM’s message of wealth creation.
